Years ago, during my third IVF treatment, a doctor told me: "There is no magic to be done. We are just going to repeat what you already did before." From that moment on, I went through treatment after treatment with a broken heart, constantly asking God for the strength to keep going. After more than 10 years of infertility treatments and over nine IVF cycles, I had become used to leaving consultations thinking, "Nothing new, nothing we don't already know." With Dr. Hector Izquierdo, it was different. From the very first appointment—even though it was only an online consultation—I felt something I honestly couldn't explain. I still remember telling my husband, for the first time in years, "It actually went well," instead of, "Nothing new, nothing we don't already know." Little by little, something changed emotionally for me. I stopped going to appointments filled with fear and exhaustion and started genuinely looking forward to the next one. One moment, in particular, has stayed with me. Just before the egg retrieval, the doctor took the time to ask us a few questions before saying something like: "I just want to lay all the cards on the table." I may not remember his exact words, but I will never forget how that moment made me feel. After years of feeling as though my treatments were simply being repeated mechanically, this time I felt that the doctor was truly beside us—not just providing a service, but becoming part of the team and leading the fight. Oddly enough, that was also the first time we actually visited and enjoyed Alicante. Before that, every trip had been nothing more than airport–clinic–hotel–airport. Beyond the emotional aspect, the competence of Dr. Izquierdo and the entire team honestly impressed me. After my previous egg retrievals, I usually needed one or even two weeks to recover because of the pain. This time, the pain went from what used to be a 10/10 to almost a 1/10. I even remember joking with one of the nurses who kept checking on me after the procedure. When she asked once again how I was feeling, I replied: "Are you sure you actually took my eggs?" It took her a second before she smiled, and I could tell she was genuinely happy to see that I was doing so well. I don't usually leave public reviews. When I appreciate someone's work, I prefer to thank them personally, and when I don't, I simply move on quietly. But this time felt different. I felt the need to speak openly to people who may feel lost, exhausted, or unsure where to go next. This review is for anyone who needs hope, reassurance, or simply some guidance. Many thanks to the entire IVI team. And to Dr. Hector Izquierdo... I honestly don't know what to say. No words can truly do you justice. May God bless you and your golden hands. Deeply grateful.

I don't know where to begin... Everything has been wonderful, all the staff, from the lovely and attentive administrative and management staff, the operating room team including the nurses and anesthesiologist! To the gynecologist (Rebeca), the treatment was exquisite, personalized, and her empathy was outstanding. The modern, clean, and comfortable facilities made every visit feel safe and secure. When you think it's impossible, and IVI changes your life. A huge thank you to Rebeca Jiménez and Estíbaliz Quevedo. They made me feel comfortable and at home from day one. I came in September terrified, and even without creating false expectations, from that moment I knew that, thanks to them, it would be possible. And it has been. Always optimistic, cheerful at every appointment, incredibly tactful, and attentive to everything. They are VERY good at what they do, and that makes it easy to trust them and let yourself go. I will always be so grateful. All the reception staff have also been incredible from the first day. They were all always attentive to any questions and responded immediately. The assistants who did the blood draws were too. Not a single complaint about IVI Alicante, and I would recommend them again and again. Thank you so much!!!!

After visiting two fertility clinics in London and having truly awful experiences with poor bedside manner, generic answers, no real investigation, and honestly no sense of hope, I arrived at IVI Alicante feeling completely hopeless. That changed the moment I met Dr. Hector Izquierdo. From my very first consultation, I felt an immediate sense of comfort, peace and happiness. It was instant and profound. For the first time in this journey, I did not feel rushed, dismissed, or like a number. I felt truly seen and understood. His warmth, positivity, and calm confidence made me feel that no matter what we need to do, we will get this done, and that he is genuinely fighting in my corner. What is remarkable is that my friends have even commented on how my tone and energy changed after that first appointment. That is how powerful the shift was, from despair to real hope which has made this process pretty easy to be honest. The entire team has been absolutely incredible, especially Jackie, Paula, and Davinia. I need to say something specific about Jackie because she is truly exceptional. She is not only a fabulous nurse but someone who makes what can feel like an overwhelming and emotional process feel simple, manageable, and calm. Her explanations are clear, her communication is constant, and her reassurance is genuine. She has an incredible way of making you feel supported at every step, no matter how small the question. That level of care makes all the difference. Their compassion, responsiveness, and organization have made what could have been a very stressful cross-border experience feel seamless. Even being London based and traveling back and forth to Spain has been incredibly easy. Yes, the technology is excellent. The patient portal is fantastic. The logistics and medication coordination are smooth. I expected them to be the best (because they are leaders) so that was a given. But what truly sets this clinic apart is the bedside manner, the humanity, and the feeling that every single person genuinely cares about you and your outcome. I am still in the middle of my journey and do not even have results yet, but I felt compelled to leave this review now because experiences like this deserve to be recognized. I have already recommended this clinic to others without hesitation. If you are feeling dismissed, unheard, or hopeless elsewhere, this is the place that restores faith. Thank you to Dr. Hector (you’ll always be my numero uno) and the entire IVI Alicante team for completely transforming my experience and reminding me that compassion in medicine still exists. Overall, my experience at IVI has been very positive. They have the best technology, a highly professional team, and a very useful online platform with quick and effective responses. The service, while polite, can sometimes feel a bit impersonal, and during consultations, they don't always provide all the necessary information proactively, which means the patient has to ask many questions. In my particular case, since everyone is different, the experience was noticeably better when Paloma, Dr. Muñoz, and Héctor provided more personalized support. Given that this is a process that isn't always successful the first time, this more human touch can make a significant difference in the patient's journey. Thank you for everything.

Dr Muñoz and his team at IVI Alicante are doing an excellent job. On the basis of a clinical activity at the highest level with an astonishingly up-to-date and broad research activity, in a very well organised and modern appealing clinic in the beautiful and vibrant medieval City of Light by the sea, Alicante, Dr Muñoz leads his team, which also knows how to convince with very high social competence. On the long, often difficult, psychologically and physically very personal and highly emotional path to the fulfilment of one of the most central wishes and goals in life, he and his team always manage to accompany his patients in a very respectful, sensitive, understanding, caring, individual and supportive manner, so that they always feel very well informed and advised, safe and treated in the best possible way.
